Adria Reese spent the first 11 years of her life in New Orleans, Louisiana, then the rest of her formative years in Vicksburg, Michigan attending various art classes including; drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, film & media, and design. After returning to the south she received her BFA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a concentration in Painting (2004). After graduating she moved to Baton Rouge and did not paint again until the Fall of 2012 when she enrolled at Louisiana State University. Her work is currently exhibited at Evolve Gallery. "My art deals with the construction and deconstruction of the human body and condition. No matter how much we fear or try to hide, the truth remains."
